I was approached by John who had a late model CBR USD front end fitted ti his 1980 Kawasaki KZ750E1 caferacer. John wanted to retain his factory front wheel but use the later model CBR front end. I had to first find disc rotors that would lend themselves to fitting into the new calipers and bolting to the old wheel. I machined 2x adapters for the front hub that then adapted to the new rotors, also centering the rotors into the radial calipers. Adapters for the front axle were turned up on the lathe to achieve the end result.
